Field of intervention: interior design
Located on a secluded hillside and creating a feeling of being immersed in nature, with 360-degree vistas that take in the lake, the city and the woods, the intent was to maximize the panorama, bringing the exterior into the interior.
The Four Seasons Private Residences Lake Austin comprises 179 units, 9 villas and an array of amenities. The lobby provides access to a range of public and private spaces that include the Spa as well as tennis courts and other sports facilities situated nearby.
Materials were sourced that bring the luxury of the Four Seasons experience to this location, creating an oasis that will appeal to those visiting and relocating to the “new Austin”, one of the fastest growing cities in the US.
Natural materials such as wood (eucalyptus, oak and American walnut) and variably textured stone, a color palette inspired by nature and a natural airflow that allows the scent of cedar and citrus trees to permeate throughout, all come together to provide residents with an experience of transformative luxury in private and community living spaces alike, with refined interiors that are minimal, warm and timeless.
